History

The history of the group goes back to 1991, and that makes us one of the oldest independent companies in Eastern Europe.

Our first company was founded by Dr. Boris Stavrovski, the scientist with a world known name in Operation Research. The consulting company, STIM and Sons, was created to provide services to property investors in the Czech Republic. Over the years, the company had several hundreds of satisfied clients, who have purchased real estate in Prague and vicinity. Some of them became our partners in real estate development projects. Working in the field of real estate, we have acquired the extensive knowledge of the market , the level of prices, the legal procedures, and the financing techniques . Among our clients were executives of such companies, as Siemens, ABB, Lukoil, Gazprom . In 1993, the company started first development project, building luxury villas and reconstructing apartments in historical center of Prague.

In 1995, our current President, Mr. Ilja Stavrovskij, changed his father as the head of the company, while Dr B. Stavrovskij retired to pursue his interest in collecting art and teaching part time as a professor of statistics at University of New York. He still provides us with consultations on business optimization and game theory, and his expertise is an invaluable asset for us in developing the most efficient strategies in the very competitive field of development.

In 1998 came our first big project in development, hotel Berlin . (see our projects)

In 2000, we have completed it, and after successfully operating in for 5 years, we have sold it to a foreign investor.

In 2004, We started another project in central Prague, King Charles Boutique Residence, offering the highest standard of rental apartments to the expatriate business in Prague.

In 2004- 2005 our group have acquired several exceptional properties for further development, including sites on Prague 2, Prague 5, Prague 6 and a site in the closest Prague suburb, on which we plan to build the highest building in the Czech Republic.

With the assets of more than 300 000 000 Czk and a fleet of 10 companies, we are the fastest growing development group in the Czech Republic.

Over the years, we have built the team of people with exceptional qualifications and capabilities, and we have constructed the network of business partnerships, this allows us to look to the future with great optimism.
